Description
4WD that transmits power from the transfer in the center of the car body to the propeller shaft. The front and rear resin axle cases have a two-story structure of the power input part and a built-in 3-bevel type diff gear inside. The front and rear suspensions are 4-link rigid. Equipped with two oil dampers per wheel, the link rods are all made of bold black-finished aluminum. It is a heavy-duty specification that ensures sufficient strength and firmly supports the heavyweight car body.

With a total length of 510 mm and a total weight of about 4.5 kg, the colossus is the largest volume among Tamiya's 1/10 electric RC. First of all, the side frame is eye-catching along with the big tires. The frame, which is composed by inserting a shaft made of aluminum cutting into resin and adding an aluminum panel, has a black finish and a sufficient sense of scale. The gear box is sandwiched in the center, and aluminum beams are added in front and behind it for high chassis rigidity.
The tires attached to the matte-plated wheels are large sizes with a width of 82 mm and a diameter of 151 mm. The built-in inner sponge ensures the rigidity of the tire, and the foot area with sufficient stroke creates high road running ability.
