Volantex adds a striking F-16 Falcon to its ever expanding ready-to-fly range, combining classic fighter jet styling with brushless power and easy to fly characteristics.

The F-16’s rear-mounted 30mm ducted fan power unit maintains classic jet styling, while its four-channel control includes working ailerons for more involved flying as skills develop. Volantex’s Xpilot stabilisation system offers three selectable settings: Full Assist, Partial Assist and Soft Assist. Pilots can start with more support and reduce it as they gain experience.
For added fun, dedicated controls provide one-key take-off, aerobatics and a U-turn manoeuvre. The aircraft also features a soft protective nose, flexible FLEEX foam construction and carbon fibre reinforcement rods. If hand launch and belly landings are not your thing, simply connect the spring wire gear for traditional take off and landings.

The model arrives assembled and includes a 2.4GHz four-channel transmitter, 7.4V 550mAh lithium battery, charging cable and manual. Low battery and range alerts provide audible warnings during flight. Just four AA batteries for the transmitter are needed to complete the package.

Update 01/01/26: The laws have changed regarding operating drones and model aircraft in the UK.

What you need to do:
You must take a theory test and register with the CAA before flying most drones or model aircraft outdoors in the UK. 
There are two requirements and you may need to meet both: 

• Pass a theory test to get a Flyer ID. 

This makes sure you know how to fly safely and legally. 

• Register with the CAA for an Operator ID. 

This registers you as someone who is responsible for a drone or model aircraft. 
Most people get their Flyer ID and Operator ID at the same time.

It is against the law to fly a drone or model aircraft without having the required IDs.
You can also be fined for breaking the law when flying. In the most serious cases, you could be sent to prison. 

The requirements are based on the weight or class of your drone or model aircraft.
