A 12 × 6 is particularly useful as a reference propeller for .60/.61 engines; a period/modern comparison test actually recorded an HP .61 turning a 12 × 6 at about 9,990 rpm.

The HP .61 F was one of the important early HP engines. The production history lists the Series I from 1971 and Series II from 1972, with later versions evolving into the Silver Star and Gold Cup models.

A highly regarded vintage 10cc / .61 cu in two-stroke glow engine from the early 1970s. This is the earlier front-induction HP .61 F design.

Approximately 9.89cc displacement, 24.5mm bore x 21mm stroke, single-cylinder two-stroke glow engine.

The engine is in good original used condition for its age and turns over freely. Carburettor, glow plug, propeller drive and mounting lugs are present as shown.

Please note: the engine has not been run/tested by me, so it is being sold as a vintage used engine rather than as a guaranteed running engine.

Ideal for a vintage RC aircraft, restoration project, classic model or collector of old Austrian model engines.
