Description
Description
A significant part of the German Wehrmacht vehicle fleet during World War II was made up of 1.5-tonne cargo trucks. One of the most popular was the Typ 25-32 produced from 1938 onwards at the Opel plant in Brandenburg. This rear-wheel drive truck was equipped with a 6-cylinder engine that was also used in the Opel Kapitän luxury passenger car.
The Typ 25-32 trucks were widely used by all parts of the German army up until the end of war such as at the Soviet-German front in Italy and in France. In the German Wehrmacht the Opel Typ 25-32 was used mainly for the movement of troops. Around 10000 Typ 25-32 trucks were manufactured from 1938 to 1942.
