Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XIVe — AZ Model 1/72 Plastic model Kit Vintage

AZ Model is a Czech specialist manufacturer whose short-run kits often cover less commonly represented variants. This 1/72 Spitfire Mk.XIVe kit contains injection-moulded plastic components, clear parts, decals and instructions, representing the Griffon-powered fighter with its distinctive long nose, five-blade propeller and revised airframe. The Spitfire Mk.XIV was the definitive wartime Griffon-powered development of the Spitfire, combining the Mk.VIII airframe with the Rolls-Royce Griffon engine; it entered service in increasing numbers from 1944 and served extensively with RAF Second Tactical Air Force units against German fighters and V-1 flying bombs. The AZ kit is now out of production and relatively collectible.
