Super Tigre S3000 30cc Petrol-Converted Engine – RCEXL CDI

For sale is a Super Tigre S3000 30cc single-cylinder two-stroke model aircraft engine, which has been converted from glow/methanol operation to petrol/gasoline operation.

The engine is fitted with an RCEXL electronic CDI ignition system  shown in the photographs.

The S3000 is a classic large-capacity Super Tigre engine, originally designed as a 30cc ringed two-stroke glow engine for large-scale RC model aircraft. Petrol conversions of the S3000 are well established, and the RCEXL ignition system provides electronic spark ignition for petrol operation.

This is a second-hand converted engine, so please examine the photographs carefully.

The engine is sold as shown, including the RCEXL CDI ignition system no muffler. The conversion has been carried out by a previous owner; therefore, the purchaser should satisfy themselves regarding the precise fuel/oil mixture, ignition timing and setup before running the engine.

The engine is currently untested, so I cannot guarantee its running condition.
