Special Hobby Plastic Model Kit
The Hawker Tempest Mk.V - Doodle-bug Hunters from our 1/32 and 1/35 scale aeroplane model kits range accurately recreates the real-life British fighter aircraft flown during World War II. This plastic model kit requires paint and glue to complete.
A new reboxing of our 1/32 Tempest Mk.V., as all of the older reboxings are sold out. The catalogue number of this new one will be SH32091, and it will be called Tempest Mk.V 'Doodle-bug Hunters'. As the name suggests, this kit will include Tempests that were used against V-1 rockets. There will be four very attractive markings. There is even a 3D printed radar (wing antenna and a cockpit instrument) for Camo A.
This will be the very first Tempest kit to offer the 'radar camo'. This aircraft, along with one other, will be decorated with symbols of shot down V-1 rockets.
One standout highlight of this boxing is the inclusion of a 3D printed radar suite, comprising a wing-mounted antenna and a cockpit instrument specific to the ‘Radar Camo A’ version. This is the first Tempest kit to offer this configuration, delivering enhanced realism and accuracy for detail-oriented modellers.
