SPAD S.A.4 — Amodel 1/72 Plastic Model Kit Vintage water damaged box

Amodel's historical range includes unusual WWI aircraft such as the SPAD S.A.4. Kit 7261 contains injection-moulded plastic parts for the fuselage and unusual forward observer nacelle, wings, engine and propeller, cockpit/observer positions, undercarriage, clear components, decals and instructions. The SPAD S.A.4 was a French two-seat tractor biplane developed during WWI from the radical SPAD S.A.2 concept, placing the observer in a nacelle ahead of the propeller so that a forward-firing gun could be carried without a synchronisation system. It served with French and Russian forces in reconnaissance and fighter roles. The unusual configuration makes the Amodel kit a notable WWI specialist subject.
