RS Models Northrop XP-79B Flying Ram 1/72 92111 Plastic Model Kit Vintage

Short-run 1/72 kit of Northrop’s highly unusual XP-79B flying-wing prototype, with injection-moulded parts, clear canopy and three decal options. The XP-79 originated as a rocket-powered high-speed flying wing; the XP-79B used turbojets and made its sole flight on 12 September 1945 before being lost in a fatal accident. A particularly interesting prototype subject for a collection of experimental and unconventional aircraft.
