Revell Sopwith Triplane 1/72 Plastic model Kit Vintage no manual

Vintage Revell H-654 Sopwith Triplane in 1/72 scale. The kit contains injection-moulded plastic parts for the distinctive three-wing airframe, fuselage, cockpit, rotary engine, propeller, undercarriage and tail, with instructions and period decals. The H-654 was introduced in the mid-1960s and is one of Revell's classic First World War aircraft kits; later reissues used the same basic tooling. The Sopwith Triplane entered Royal Naval Air Service service in 1916 and became famous for its exceptional climb, manoeuvrability and rate of roll. It was particularly associated with No. 8 Naval Squadron and the famous 'Black Flight'. Fewer than 150 production aircraft were built, but the type had a significant influence on the development of German triplane fighters and helped inspire the Fokker Dr.I.
