Revell Boeing PT-13D Kaydet / N2S-5 1/72 Plastic model Kit Vintage

Vintage Revell H-series 1/72 plastic kit of the Boeing PT-13D Kaydet, the US Army/Navy version of the famous Boeing Model 75 training biplane. The kit comprises moulded plastic components for the biplane fuselage, wings, radial engine, cowling, cockpit, undercarriage, struts and propeller, with instructions and period decals. The H-649 kit was part of Revell's classic 1/72 range and is documented as a 1960s kit; later H-series issues retained the same basic tooling. The full-size Kaydet was developed from Boeing's Model 6 and entered US military service as a primary trainer. Thousands were produced and the type became one of the best-known American training aircraft of the 1930s and Second World War, serving under Army and Navy designations including PT-13 and N2S. This is a particularly attractive vintage Revell subject because the Kaydet is less commonly encountered than the company's WWI fighters.
