The RCV 60-SP is a unique 10 cc [0.61 cu in] four-stroke glow engine that uses a patented rotating cylinder sleeve instead of traditional overhead valves
Displacement: 10 cc (0.61 cu in) [0.611]

Power Output: 0.9 bhp at 11,600 rpm [0.611]
Gear Reduction: Features a 2:1 reduction gear, meaning the output shaft turns at half the crankshaft speed [0.66, 0.611]. This allows the engine to swing a much larger propeller (such as an 18x8) at a lower, more scale-like rpm,
Valve Design: A rotating cylinder sleeve acts as the rotary valve, eliminating pushrods, camshafts, and exposed rocker arms for an extremely narrow profile.
Fuel Requirements: Requires standard glow fuel consisting of methanol, 10% nitromethane, and a minimum of 15% synthetic or castor oil lubricant [0.65].
Starting Method: The SP series can be started from the rear using an electric 12V/24V aircraft starter with a special adapter engaging a rear screw (turning clockwise to start), though some operators successfully hand-start them when properly primed
