Polish Uhlans Cavalry (18 Figures)

When Napoleon I entered Warsaw he had an escort from a group of Polish noblemen. The emperor was impressed with their excellent military bearing and craftsmanship. In 1807 he formed a regiment of the Polish light cavalry whose warriors besides using the common weapons of cavalry (sabre pistols carabine) were armed with long spears. Uhlans had participated in campaigns against Spain and Russia. When Napoleon I was abdicated from the French throne and sent to Elba Island he was escorted by 120 Lifeguard Polish Uhlans.
