O.S. 52 Four-Stroke Glow Engine R/C Aircraft Engine – Japan Second hand (Box 161)

This is a single-cylinder, air-cooled four-stroke engine designed for radio-controlled model aircraft. The engine features overhead valves operated by pushrods, a carburettor for throttle control, and a removable silencer. It is a popular type of engine for vintage, sport and scale model aircraft.

The O.S. FS-52 was designed for sport and scale radio-controlled aircraft, offering the characteristic sound and performance of a four-stroke model engine. Its compact size makes it suitable for a range of medium-sized model aeroplanes.

Condition:

Used vintage engine with signs of age, use and cosmetic wear, as shown in the photographs. There is damage to the rocker cover and loos like a crack along the front of the mount for the rocker cover on the cylinder head. The engine turns over freely by hand. It has not been running-tested, so its compression, internal condition, carburettor operation and ability to start and run are unverified.

The silencer and other components shown in the photographs are included. Please inspect all photographs carefully to assess the condition and completeness of the engine.
