Norvel Easy Start .049 with Tank, Mount and Power Pod (Box 162) Vintage Norvel Easy Start .049 model aircraft engine assembly, approximately 0.8cc displacement, supplied with fuel tank, engine mount and power pod as pictured. Norvel engines originated from designs developed in Russia by Valentin Alyoshin and were marketed by Northern Velocity in the USA during the 1990s and early 2000s. Norvel became known among model aircraft enthusiasts for its compact, high-performance small-displacement engines. This example is second-hand and turns over with compression.
