Mirage Hobby’s new range of large scale (200mm) figures includes a British “Red Devil” along with German and USA paratrooper poses. Contents This resin figure is of a WWII British paratrooper in dress typical of that worn in the “Market Garden” airborne landing of September 1944. This landing sought to capture the vital Arnhem bridge over the Rhine River to enable an assault into Northern Germany.This figure is in the large 200mm scale (1/9) and features one paratrooper wearing a 2nd pattern Denison camoflague smock, trousers with anklets and pattern 1937 webbing standing on a small scenic base. He has a face veil wrapped around his neck and is armed with an Enfield No 4 rifle. The figure is very nicely cast in light grey resin with crisply defined detail for the folds in the fabric and face, which sports a moustache.
