1 A-STAND Primer + 1 A-STAND Metallic Color + 1 Acrylic Wash for Radial Engines
This set brings together a carefully selected combination of products for painting and finishing radial engines, allowing you to accurately reproduce the main metallic surfaces while adding the depth, contrast, and shading characteristic of these iconic powerplants.
The A-STAND Gloss Black Base Primer provides the ideal foundation for the metallic finish, creating a smooth, high-gloss surface that maximizes the realism and brilliance of the metallic coat applied afterward. Stainless Steel delivers a fine, uniform metallic finish perfect for engine cylinders, crankcases, and other exposed components. The Dark Acrylic Wash completes the set by adding depth, contrast, and definition, accentuating recessed details, bolts, rivets, and the shadows between the cooling fins of the cylinders.
For best results, allow the primer to cure completely before applying the metallic paint. A-STAND products are formulated for direct airbrush application and can be thinned and cleaned with A-STAND Airbrush Thinner & Cleaner. The acrylic wash is designed for brush application and can be thinned and cleaned with water.
