Messerschmitt Bf 109W-1 Floatplane — Amodel 1/72 Plastic Model Kit Vintage

Amodel's specialist catalogue is particularly strong in prototypes and projected variants. Kit 7275 contains injection-moulded plastic components, floats and supporting struts, fuselage and wings, cockpit, engine/cowling, propeller, undercarriage-related parts, clear canopy, decals and instructions. The Bf 109W was a proposed floatplane adaptation of the famous Messerschmitt Bf 109 for maritime and carrier-related operations; the project did not become a major production variant, with only limited prototype/development work. This unusual float-equipped Messerschmitt is considerably rarer as a modelling subject than the standard Bf 109.
