McDonnell Douglas F-18A Hornet — Hasegawa 1/32 Plastic model Kit Vintage decals are old and cracked

Hasegawa is a major Japanese model-kit manufacturer renowned for accurately engineered aircraft kits, particularly in larger scales. This vintage S23 kit is an injection-moulded 1/32-scale F-18A Hornet, with moulded plastic airframe, cockpit and pilot/detail parts, undercarriage, twin-engine nacelles and exhausts, stores/ordnance, clear parts, decals and assembly instructions. The kit is catalogued as Hasegawa S23/S023 and is an older, now discontinued tooling. The full-size F/A-18 Hornet was developed by Northrop and McDonnell Douglas from the YF-17 for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps; the F-18A entered service in 1983 and became a highly successful carrier-based multirole fighter and attack aircraft. This particular vintage Hasegawa boxing is collectible, especially complete with original decals and good packaging.
