Vintage Keil Kraft Auster Arrow flying scale model aircraft kit in brand-new, unbuilt condition.

Keil Kraft was a famous British model aircraft manufacturer whose kits introduced generations of enthusiasts to the hobby of building and flying model aeroplanes. The Auster Arrow was part of the company's popular Flying Scale range and was designed as a rubber-powered free-flight model.

The original model has an approximate 21-inch wingspan and is based on the Auster Arrow, a light aircraft associated with the British Auster family of high-wing utility and observation aircraft. Auster aircraft became particularly well known for their liaison, observation and civilian flying roles.

The kit uses traditional model aircraft construction methods, with shaped balsa wood components and plans for building the model. When completed, the aircraft is designed to fly using a wound rubber motor, making it an appealing project for vintage aeromodellers.
