JACH Baynes Bat 1/72 72101 Plastic Model Kit Vintage

Short-run 1/72 kit of the British Baynes Bat experimental tailless glider, built as a one-third-scale demonstrator for a proposed “Carrier Wing” concept that would allow a tank to be towed by aircraft to the battlefield. The kit includes injection-moulded parts, photo-etched details and decals for the prototype. First flown in 1943, the Bat also provided useful research into the stability and handling of tailless aircraft, although the tank-carrying glider concept was ultimately abandoned.
