The Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine operate various military equipment, primarily consisting of Soviet-era models. Most of these vehicles have stood the test of time and remain effective for combat tasks.

This IFV is one of the most proven and reliable weapon systems of its type in the world. In Ukraine, the SPz Marder 1A3 has been deployed primarily to the Air Assault Forces, where it has demonstrated excellent qualities as a well-protected and reliable combat vehicle.
