IBG Models 1/73 FV4101 Charioteer mMk.VIIB in Finnish Service 72113
The FV4101 Charioteer was a British tank destroyer, developed in the early 1950s, which saw service in various countries, including Finland.
The Charioteer was based on the chassis of the Cromwell tank and was fitted with a powerful 20-pounder gun, giving it enhanced firepower.
In Finnish service, the Charioteer was primarily used during the Cold War era. Finland acquired a small number of these vehicles in the late 1950s to bolster its armoured forces.
Though they were eventually phased out as newer tanks were introduced, the Charioteer played a role in strengthening Finland's defensive capabilities during a tense period in European history.
