HK Ryan ST-A EP Composite Model with Flaps ARF - Second Hand - New

This stunning little Ryan ST-A is a superbly made and beautifully detailed scale model that almost looks too nice to fly!

The fiber glass fuselage, wheel pants and cowl are excellent quality and superbly painted, the wings, rudder and tailfeathers are lightweight balsa construction and so very nicely made and covered. The rudder/steering tailwheel assembly are mounted on round hinges and operated by an internal push/pull system. The wings and horizontal stabilizers are mounted onto CF rods and epoxied to the fuselage for superior strength. Like the control rods, the under-carriage is proper piano wire, the supplied hardware is comprehensive and includes plastic coated steel rigging wire for that final scale touch.

It would certainly be fair to say that some previous building experience is desirable to assemble this superb looking Ryan but the end result is a scale model to be proud of. As well as the unbelievable amount of scale detail for a model of this size, the Ryan also features flaps for sensible landing speeds. Combine all the features of this lovely scale model with it's low build cost and this model is a steal, especially as it will last for years if looked after, high detail scale modelling was never so cheap & easy!
