In the 1985 Bathurst 1000km race, TWR entered three V12 engine Jaguar XJ-Ss and dominated the local Australian field from qualifying. In the final, John Goss and Armin Hahne won, with Tom Walkinshaw and Win Percy coming in third. Nicknamed the "Green Monster", this machine dominated mount Panorama with its overwhelming power and reliability.
