When cargo vessels come into the harbour having covered thousands of sea miles, they still have a difficult stretch ahead of them. This is where harbour tug boats come into their own, take over command and tow these gigantic ships safely along the quay. The tug boats do not carry any cargo, but serve to tow large tankers and cargo vessels.
