Futaba R3306GY Six (Expandable) Channel T-FHSS Receiver / 6-axis Fixed-wing Gyro with S.Bus2 Output

Futaba's first combined fixed-wing receiver and gyro is a very welcome addition to the range, especially as it's so small, light and powerful. Packing T-FHSS protocol, a full range receiver, six conventional PWM outputs (covering the four primary flight controls), an S.Bus2 output and, of course, a 6-axis gyro, it also boasts remote gain, four flight modes, support for numerous wing configurations and provision for four aileron and two elevator functions. Used in conjunction with Futaba's SBD series S.Bus servo decoder modules, up to eight additional control functions (such as flaps, retracts and air brakes) can be accommodated with ease. With the option to set the gyro functions in any one of three ways either by a push-button on the unit, using a GBP-1 program box or, for compatible transmitters, on screen there's huge set-up flexibility here.

With both normal and AVCS (heading hold) stabilisation, switchable 'roll flat' functionality (which acts as a beginner-friendly co-pilot, takes over aileron control and keeps the wings level) and compatibility with either electric or i.c. powered aircraft, there's every reason to give this highly sophisticated box of tricks a try.
