FROG Vickers Vimy 1/72 F163

Vintage FROG 1/72 plastic model kit of the Vickers Vimy, a large British twin-engined biplane bomber developed towards the end of the First World War. The kit represents the Vimy in military configuration, with its distinctive fabric-covered wings, twin engines and fixed landing gear. Although it arrived too late to see significant combat in the First World War, the Vimy became famous for pioneering long-distance flights, including the first nonstop transatlantic crossing by Alcock and Brown in 1919. FROG's F163 was issued in different box styles, including a later military Mk.IV version.
