FROG Avro Shackleton MR.3 1/72 F172

Vintage FROG 1/72 plastic model kit of the Avro Shackleton MR.3, a long-range British maritime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft developed from the Avro Lincoln. The kit includes the large fuselage, wings, four-engine installation, undercarriage and clear cockpit and crew-area glazing, with RAF and South African Air Force marking options. The Shackleton entered RAF service in 1951 and served for decades on maritime patrol, submarine detection and surveillance duties. The MR.3 introduced improvements for extended operations, including a tricycle undercarriage. The original FROG tooling was later reissued by Revell.
