1/72 Eastern Express short-run kit of the trainer version of the British Sopwith 1½ Strutter. The kit contains 51 parts and derives from the Toko tooling originally produced in 1998. The Strutter was one of the most important British aircraft of WWI: the first British two-seat tractor aircraft fitted with a synchronised forward-firing gun and the first aircraft designed from the outset for shipboard operation. It served with the RFC, RNAS and French Aviation Militaire from 1916, while trainer aircraft continued in service after the war. Current UK examples of 72159 are around £7.50 used, so £12 is a sensible recommended price for good-condition packaging.
