Cox Medallion .049 Glow Engine with Silencer (Box 163) Cox Medallion .049 model aircraft glow engine, approximately 0.8cc, supplied with a silencer. The Medallion range was introduced as part of Cox's American small-engine line and offered a more conventional model-engine arrangement alongside the company's popular Babe Bee and higher-performance Tee Dee families. Medallion engines were made in several versions, including variants intended for control-line or radio-control use; the exact version depends on the cylinder and throttle arrangement. This second-hand example turns over and has compression but has not been test-run. Glow-head, induction, silencer and running performance are unverified.
