It faithfully reflects the proportions of the historic ship and retains all its essential elements, including armament. The model ship was created to look as it did during "Operation Berlin 1941" (Atlantic). It was the famous corsair rally in the Atlantic Ocean with the battleships Scharnhorst and Gneisenau!
The block model of the Genisenau ship has been covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off even during use. Noteworthy is the intricately reproduced shape of the hull and attention to maintaining as many details as possible. The model has numerous moving parts such as: propellers, rudders, rotating turrets and gun barrels that can be raised and lowered. The set also includes a very stable and aesthetic black display stand with description plates with the name of the ship printed on it. Although the ship is very large, its construction is simple thanks to the intuitive instructions based on clear illustrations. Nearly 2,500 elements ensure many hours of construction and a detailed finished model! The Gneisenau ship is an ideal item for fans of history, military technology, military and marine engineering. Express your passion and build history, piece by piece!
The Gneisenau was a WWII German battleship that entered service on May 21, 1938. Both Scharnhorst and Gneisenau were a new type of German battleship. They were characterized by greater size, speed and more powerful weapons. They were created in response to the expansion of the navy in France. Gneisenau took part in many combat operations, including the famous Operation Berlin in 1941, where it proved to be very effective. It was sunk on March 28, 1945 in Gdynia in order to block the port.
