Bucks Composites Super Lightweight Fairing Compound 250ml

Super Lightweight Filler & Fairing Compound is the ideal low-density filler for creating a light, easily-worked fairing compound especially suited for fairings small and large. Super Lightweight Filler & Fairing Compound mixes with greater ease than Micro Balloons and is approximately 30% easier to sand. It feathers to a fine edge. Not recommended under dark paint or other surfaces subject to high temperatures.

This produces a smooth strong Lightweight sandable Filler and Fairing compound. Holds a feathered edge well without crumbling.

Processing:

1. Spoon out the required amount of the SLFFC into a pot.
2. Mix epoxy resin with correct ratio of hardener and stir well.
3. Add the activated epoxy resin & hardener to the SLFFC and stir well.
4. Add more or less of the Activated epoxy resin & hardener to control the viscosity of the mixture.

Usually Toothpaste consistency.

For best results coat the working area with activated epoxy resin & hardener to give a better bond for the Super Lightweight Filler & Fairing Compound to adhere  to.
