Airfix LFG Roland C.II 1/72 120 Plastic Model Kit Vintage

Vintage 1/72 Airfix kit of the German LFG Roland C.II reconnaissance aircraft, nicknamed the Walfisch (Whale). The C.II was an advanced two-seat reconnaissance and artillery-observation aircraft introduced in 1916, with a streamlined fuselage, powerful engine installation and excellent speed for its class. Its unusual construction and enclosed crew accommodation gave it a distinctive appearance, while its performance allowed it to operate in areas where slower reconnaissance aircraft were vulnerable. The Airfix kit first appeared in 1965 and is one of the company's classic early WWI subjects.
