Airfix Heinkel He 177 1/72 589 / 05009-2 Plastic Model Kit Vintage

Vintage 1/72 Airfix kit of the Heinkel He 177 Greif, Germany's principal heavy bomber of the Second World War. The kit contains approximately 160 parts and depicts the distinctive paired-engine arrangement in which two engines drove each propeller through a common gearbox, a feature intended to reduce drag. The He 177 was designed for long-range bombing and maritime operations and was also associated with the use of rocket-propelled anti-shipping weapons. This Airfix tooling was first issued in 1967.
