Airfix Fairey Battle B Mk.I 1/72 259 / 02029-7 / 3032 Plastic Model Kit Vintage

Vintage 1/72 Airfix kit of the Fairey Battle B Mk.I, the RAF's principal light bomber at the beginning of the Second World War. The single-engined, three-seat Battle was designed for level bombing and reconnaissance and was equipped with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. It suffered heavy losses during the 1940 campaign in France and was subsequently withdrawn from front-line bombing operations, although it continued extensively as a trainer and target tug. This Airfix tooling was first issued in 1968.
