Airfix de Havilland Mosquito FB.VI 1/72 281 / 02001-9 / 2001 Plastic Model Kit Vintage

Vintage 1/72 Airfix kit of the de Havilland Mosquito FB.VI fighter-bomber. The kit has 48 parts and represents a rocket-armed aircraft of No. 487 Squadron. The Mosquito was constructed primarily from wood and combined exceptional speed with a powerful twin-engine layout, allowing it to perform fighter-bomber, reconnaissance, night-fighter and maritime-strike missions. The FB.VI was one of the most numerous combat versions and was powered by two Rolls-Royce Merlin engines. This classic Airfix tooling dates from 1957 and is noted as a rare early version.
