Vintage 1/72 Airfix kit of the Bristol Type 170 Superfreighter Mk.32, with the characteristic high wing, twin Bristol Hercules engines and nose-loading arrangement. The full-size aircraft was developed from the Bristol Freighter for post-war vehicle and passenger ferry services, particularly across the English Channel. The model comprises 107 parts and includes the distinctive operating loading doors and ramps. The mould originated in 1959 and was subsequently sold in several different Airfix boxings and catalogue-number generations.
