Admiral Supermarine Spitfire Mk.24 1/72 ADM7203 Plastic Model Kit Vintage

1/72 Admiral kit of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.24, the ultimate production fighter version of the Spitfire. The Mk.24 incorporated increased internal fuel capacity, the enlarged Spiteful-style tail and provision for underwing rockets, while retaining the powerful Griffon engine and four 20 mm cannon armament. Only 54 new Mk.24 aircraft were produced, with a further 27 converted from Mk.22 airframes. The type served with RAF No. 80 Squadron in Germany and later Hong Kong, remaining in service into the early 1950s. This Admiral release is a short-run injection-moulded kit from the early 2010s.
