If you’re like us you’ll have left the cinema, rushed out and bought the Airfix kit, then spent the next day making a gummy mess of it. It’s no wonder, then, all these years later, that Seagull’s 1/8-scale R/C version (5500027) is so darn popular. Who wouldn’t want one and who in their right mind wouldn’t want to fit a scale version of Squadron Leader Roy Grenville and Navigator Hoppy Hopkinson? That, then, is exactly why we’ve introduced this highly realistic purpose-made DH.98 pilot and navigator set which, as you might imagine, fits the Seagull ARTF like a glove. Add a coat of paint and watch your model turn from a great-looking version of the famous fighter bomber into an outstanding one.
