Features
- One input channel controls two servos (electronic “Y” harness).
- Most standard proportional radio control servos can be controlled. (Not retract servos.)
- Travel times of full speed or 6 stages of delay between 2 and 16 seconds (for 100%) can be selected.
- Travel direction can be individually selected on both servos (toggled).
- Travel end points between 25% and 150% can be individually set each side of neutral on both servos.
- The neutral position can be individually set on both servos.
- Factory default reset is available.
Instructions
Plug the flying lead on the Servo Slow Unit into the selected channel on your receiver. Connect the servos to the Servo Slow Unit. Switch on the transmitter and then the receiver. Movement of the transmitter stick will operate the servos at a high speed. Before performing any set-up, if your transmitter has travel adjustment or servo reverse, set the travel to 100% and set the travel direction to normal.
Servo direction
During operation, press and immediately release the INC key to toggle the servo 1 travel direction. The LED flashes to confirm the toggle. Press and immediately release the DEC key to toggle the servo 2 travel direction.
Servo Trim and Travel Volume
To set the trim on servo 1, during operation, press and hold the INC key until the LED flashes. The LED lights continuously when the key is released to confirm that the set-up is active. Servo 1 follows the stick movement at full speed. Servo 2 holds its position. Move the stick to neutral and use the INC and DEC keys to set the neutral position. Press and release the key to single step, press and hold the key to auto repeat. When the neutral is correct, press and hold the INC and DEC keys simultaneously until the LED flashes. The LED lights continuously when the keys are released to confirm that set-up is still active. Move the stick to the extreme on one side of neutral and use the INC and DEC keys to set the end point position. Press and release the key to single step, press and hold the key to auto repeat. Move the stick to the other side of neutral and use the INC and DEC keys to set the end point on that side. Exit the travel set-up by pressing the INC and DEC keys simultaneously until the LED flashes. The LED goes out when the keys are released to confirm that set-up is complete.
During operation, press and hold the DEC key and repeat the above procedure to set the servo 2 trim and travel.
Servo Speed
The servo speed is adjusted by altering the number of delay units. As supplied, the Servo Slow is set to a delay of one unit. The servo will move more slowly as the delay units are increased. Please note that the servo transit time (delay) will be reduced in proportion to the servo travel.
To set servo speed, press and hold the INC key and switch on. The LED flashes in groups of 7. Release the key when the required number of flashes have been seen. 1 flash gives full speed while 7 flashes give the slowest speed.
Reset
To reset to factory default, press and hold the DEC key and switch on, The LED lights and goes out when the key is released to confirm the reset.
Safety
Please ensure that the set-up keys cannot be pressed accidentally while the unit is in use.
