Description
Description
The Wig-Wag light switch has been designed to switch lights on and off at half a second rate to simulate the effect on police and emergency vehicles and can also be used on a truck’s cab etc.
Features
* Lights are operated from the receiver battery.
* Latching operation, so two items could be used on the same channel.
* Lights toggle at approximately half a second.
* Light bulbs or L.E.D’s can be used.
Instructions
Plug the flying lead on the Wigwag light switch into the selected channel on your receiver. Switch on the transmitter and then the receiver.
Make sure that the channel you are using has its end point/travel adjustment set to 100% of movement. If you don’t you may find that it will not switch on and off.
In operation the Wigwag light will start and stop when the switch or stick on the channel is move to the long end (2.00ms) of the channel and then returned to the centre, i.e. 1.5ms or less.
Wiring up
When using light bulbs just wire them straight to the terminal block, see diagram. When using L.E.D’s you must fit the 100 Ohm current limiting resistors provide otherwise the L.E.D’s will get damaged. Note L.E.D’s are polarised so must wired the correct way round otherwise they will not light.
