Typ LG3000 WWII German Army Truck

Before the outbreak of World War II Germany began to modernise its army from 1933 onwards. An important part of Wehrmacht motorisation was the manufacturing of three-axle 3-tonne trucks. One of them was the Mercedes-Benz LG63 (LG3000). It was in production from 1935 to 1938. This truck had a 95hp 6-cylinder diesel engine and Knorr air-over hydraulic brakes. They produced 7434 LG3000 trucks that were widely used by all parts of the German army up until the end of war such as at the Soviet-German front in Polish and French campaigns and in the Balkans.
