This is not a working boat but a good project to convert to a working boat with new controllers and batteries 

Motor will need to be checked as will the nimh battery. The 27mhz radio is non working but included - ideal model to modify with modern RC equipment

FEATURES

• Scale boat 1:36 scale port tug model for recreational riding. The model is supplied as a 99.9% RC set - to finish it, it is still necessary to hang tyres serving as bumpers on the sides of the ship. Preparing for the voyage involves charging the propulsion battery and inserting batteries or accumulators into the transmitter. The model is powered by two DC engines of the 280 series, powering two metal three-blade ship bolts stored in the rings. The direction of travel is controlled by a pair of rudders located immediately behind the ship's bolts. The control is provided by a two-channel transmitter 27 MHz AM, the on-board electronics consist of a receiver with interchangeable crystals, a two-way electronic speed controller and a servo rudder. The control of the rudder and engine speed is fully proportional, the range of the RC set is about 120 m. Access to the engine, batteries and electronics is provided by a removable cover at the back of the deck. The drive comes with a six-cell NiMH 7.2 V/800 mAh battery pack (sufficient for up to 20 minutes of sailing). The 200 mA mains charger is supplied with the model for charging. To power the transmitter, you will need eight pencil batteries or accumulators (not included in the RC set). The RC set includes: ready-to-voy model, two-channel 27 MHz transmitter, 7.2 V/800 mAh power battery, mains charger for power battery, plastic stand and detailed operating instructions.
