ntroduced in the early 1970s, the Bedford MK FV 4x4 General Service Truck saw widespread service providing vital mobility for the British Army, whilst also being developed to fulfil several specialist roles.
As an aircraft refueller, they serviced RAF and Army Air Corps helicopters and Harriers, particularly when they were being operated in off-airfield, tactical situations.
