Hasegawa 1:72 Kyushu J7W1 18-Shi Interceptor Fighter Shinden HAD20
The Kyushu J7W Shinden is a Japanese, single-engine, metal-structure duck-based experimental interceptor from the end of World War II. Although the work on the duck-shaped planes started in 1942, the flight of the prototype took place only on August 3, 1945. The last two test flights took place in the last days of the war and the prototype was only 45 minutes long. flight. The propulsion was a Mitsubishi Ha-43-41 engine with a capacity of 2030KM moving the push propeller, which unfortunately caused too much vibration and made manoeuvrers difficult during test flights. Accordingly, a version of the J7W2 Shinden-Kai was developed, which was planned to be equipped with a turbojet engine. This version never got past the design stage. Technical data: length: 9.66m, wingspan: 11.11m, height: 3.92m, maximum speed: 750km / h, climb speed: 12.5m / s, maximum range: 850km, maximum ceiling 12000m, armament: permanent -4 30mm Type 5 cannons.
