Description
The airframe and internal structure of the 1/32 Shinden have now been scaled down to 1/48. This has resulted not simply in reducing the size of parts from the larger kit, but a certain amount of combining and condensing the structure to cater for the smaller size. The engine is a particularly nice piece of tooling – you can see by the accompanying pictures that it is indistinguishable from the real thing without a very close inspection. SWS starts this new 1/48 series by offering the mystery, charm and power of the Shinden. But don't miss out – this kit is expected to sell out as quickly as the 1/32 version!
The Japanese Navy prototype fighter "Shinden", which was developed as a trump card against the enemy bomber "B-29" at the end of World War II, is now available on a completely new 1/48 Scale.
It is not just a Scale down, but a completely new design philosophy that makes it look three-dimensional even Number of Pieces There is a tail wing at the tip of the nose peculiar to "Shinden", and the canard type body shape and thermal power with the main wing and engine at the rear of the fuselage are concentrated forward, and the nose armament that also serves as a weight balance with the rear engine, etc. The internal structure is beautifully reproduced.
Amazing internal structure reproduction that does not seem to be 1/48 Scale
It was possible because there was Scale The small size of 1/48 can reproduce the skeleton state.
The internal structure packed tightly on Internal Frame that penetrates from the nose tip to the tail, which is peculiar to "Shinden", can be mistaken for Scale
Even though the engine is small Scale it is perfect!
Believe in the cooling fins engraved on the cylinder block body of the Mitsubishi double-row star-shaped 18-cylinder "843" 42-type engine, the figure-eight lock cover on the Head Reproduced in detail with an unprecedented sense of density.
