The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was used by the German Luftwaffe during WWII.
First designed in Nazi Germany in the 1930's the Bf 110 was designed as a twin-seat, twin-engine Zerstorer (heavy fighter) & fighter-bomber. The Bf 110 would see many different version built with different weapons, additional fuel tanks & bomb racks sometimes fitted.
Although considered a success in the early campaign's the Bf 110 primary weakness proved to be its lack of manoeuvrability, something that cost them dearly when up against the RAF fighters during the Battle of Britain.
