The falcon 400 motor is able to handle hi-voltage which contributes to hi-effeciancy and higher power output than most other 400 class motors. The easy access battery bay under the canopy is attached with magnet. Battery is just above the CG location. Different battery will not cause any CG balance problems.

2 micro servos (Aileron & Elevator)
15 amp electric speed controller.
10 cell 950-1100mA Ni-Mh or 500-700ma Ni-Cd batteries, which has to be able to supply 10amp current continously.
