Vintage style model plane kit. 1.7metre wing span, built up balsa and ply construction. Low wing traditional vintage type model intended for brushless electric motor power and three function radio control. Kit contains all laser cut ply and balsa parts, sheet and strip balsa and a comprehensive fittings kit to include push rods, connectors, hinges under carriage and wheels, all neatly packed into a "Toblerone" shaped box. There is also a full size plan and a CD ROM with a detailed construction manual with over 60 photographs. The kit does not contain the motor, battery, radio control, speed controller, adhesive or covering materials. This model kit contains small parts and is not suitable for small children. This model is for experienced model makers. The construction requires soldering of metal under carriage which a novice may find challenging. The completed model flies well. It is slow and stable capable of looping but not particularly aerobatic. It needs some model flying experience to fly it confidently and requires power on landing to maintain full rudder authority.
